"Alpaco" is a dark chocolate with 66% cocoa from the French chocolate manufacturer Valrhona. This bar belongs to the line "Grands Crus de Terroir" for the production of which only the finest cocoa from a specific growing region is used.
Alpaca's cocoa comes exclusively from Ecuador.
Origin and flavor
Three localities in Ecuador, Vince Quevedo and Babaoio form the framework of the region in which "Nacional" cocoa is grown on traditionally managed plantations, more commonly known as "Arriba cocoa".
From this fine cocoa, the alpaca is made into a strong yet flowery chocolate, whose jasmine and orange notes come into their own through the fine melt.
