Since 2008, the Original Beans team has been developing the cocoa region at Virunga Park in eastern Congo, where women are still severely disadvantaged. The women's groups are supported and strengthened with seedlings, training and a local radio program.
The very dark milk chocolate made from directly traded organic cocoa beans, unrefined organic cane sugar and also organic certified milk delights the palate with creamy notes of cappuccino and roasted nuts .
In addition to using organic ingredients, Original Beans is committed to the environment with a tree planting project. You can find more about here.
